Laser microneedling is used to heal certain types of cosmetic concerns, such as acne scarring and rejuvenation. In the hands of an experienced therapist, laser treatments usually provide faster, more dramatic and long lasting results than microneedling treatments alone. Both microneedling and non-ablative skin laser treatments address much the fine lines and wrinkles, but in different ways. Microneedling as a minimally invasive treatments acts just below the skin with less damage through the surface of the skin. Microneedling treats the skin concerns via collagen production, known as collagen induction therapy.
Non-ablative skin rejuvenation uses a laser to improve the appearance of wrinkles, brown spots and minor scars by creating heat in the skin without injuring the surface of the skin. The heat generated by the laser promotes collagen production which causes the skin to tighten and look young and healthy. The goal is that pinpricks from the microneedling procedure cause slight injury to the skin and that the energized skin by laser responds by producing new collagen-rich tissue. This new skin tissue is, in turn, more even in tone and texture.
This package has a quick recovery time (about 3-4 days of a light sunburn appearance) and less potential side effects. It’s also safe to use on all skin types. You can be an ideal candidate for this package if you’re in good health and have certain skin concerns that haven’t responded to other types of dermatologic procedures.
